On this engine the component is the cylinder head with its valve guides already fitted.
Why this part matters: supplied this way because worn valve guides are one of the most common reasons to take a head off a radial — oil past the guides shows as a smoking exhaust. Supplied as a pack of 2, which is how these small parts are normally bought — you rarely need just one.
Fitting note: Check valve stem clearance in the new guide before assembly.
