This is the propeller lock cone for the UMS 7-260cc engine, the seven-cylinder 260cc four-stroke radial from UMS.
The part itself is the propeller lock cone, which centres and locks the propeller on its drive.
Why it is replaced: the cone must seat perfectly or the propeller will not run true; a scored cone is replaced, not dressed. Supplied as a pack of 3, which is how these small parts are normally bought — you rarely need just one.
Fitting note: Check the cone and the matching face for fretting before fitting, and torque to the factory figure.
