This is the cylinder head gasket for the UMS 7-35cc engine, the seven-cylinder 35cc four-stroke radial from UMS.
The part itself is the cylinder head gasket, which seals the joint between the head and the cylinder barrel.
Why it is replaced: a single-use sealing item — a gasket is never reused once the head has been off, and failure shows as a compression leak or an oil weep at the joint. Supplied as a pack of 10, which is how these small parts are normally bought — you rarely need just one.
Fitting note: Clean both faces and torque the head screws in the correct sequence.
