This is the o-ring top cover for the UMS 7-50cc engine, the seven-cylinder 50cc four-stroke radial from UMS.
The part itself is the O-ring sealing the top cover.
Why it is replaced: a hardened O-ring is an oil leak and, worse, lets the cover leak air on some designs.
Fitting note: Renew on every removal and check the groove is clean.
