A silencer assembly to suit the UMS 7-77cc — the seven-cylinder 77cc four-stroke radial from UMS.
On this engine the component is the silencer assembly, which collects the exhaust from the cylinders and reduces noise.
Why this part matters: silencers crack at the welds and corrode from the inside, and a cracked silencer is noisy, can leak hot gas and can come apart in flight.
Fitting note: Check the welds and mounting points closely and support the silencer so vibration is not carried by the joints.
