This is the carburettor adapter for the UMS 9-99cc engine, the nine-cylinder 99cc four-stroke radial from UMS.
The part itself is the adapter that mounts the carburettor to the engine intake.
Why it is replaced: replaced if the flange is warped or the stud threads are damaged — a warped adapter guarantees an air leak. Supplied as a pack of 3, which is how these small parts are normally bought — you rarely need just one.
Fitting note: Check flatness on a surface plate and fit a new gasket both sides.
