This is the lock nut (in) for the UMS 5-125cc engine, the five-cylinder 125cc four-stroke radial from UMS.
The part itself is the internal locking nut for a shaft or bearing location.
Why it is replaced: a locking nut that has lost its interference will not stay set, and the results can be expensive. Supplied as a pack of 4, which is how these small parts are normally bought — you rarely need just one.
Fitting note: Replace rather than re-stake a nut, and confirm the setting after torqueing.
