A sensor to suit the DLE 170M twin — a large-displacement two-stroke petrol twin for very large scale models.
On this engine the component is the ignition pickup sensor, which tells the ignition module when to fire.
Why this part matters: a failing sensor gives an intermittent misfire or a no-start that is difficult to diagnose, so it is a routine spare.
Fitting note: Check the air gap to the magnet and the state of the connector before condemning the sensor.
