Replacement connecting rod for the DLE 20 single 20cc engine.
Function: it is the connecting rod, linking the piston to the crankpin and carrying the combustion load into the crankshaft.
The reason this ends up on an order: rods are replaced at overhaul or after a failure, since a rod that has been hot or has run with a dry bearing cannot be trusted.
Fitting note: Check the big-end and small-end bearing surfaces, and check the rod for straightness before fitting.
