DLE222 Crankshaft casing

This is the crankshaft casing for the DLE 222 twin, a large-displacement two-stroke petrol twin for very large scale models.

The part itself is the crankshaft casing, which encloses and supports the crankshaft assembly.

Why it is replaced: replaced if the casing is cracked or the bearing housings are worn, which lets the crank run out of line.

Fitting note: Check the mating faces for flatness and renew the gasket.
