MAD 5015 IPE 150KV/270KV/320KV 9kg Thrust Motor for UAV Drone (A pair)

The MAD 5015 IPE is a brushless outrunner rated at 9kg of thrust and offered in three KV windings — 150, 270 and 320 — supplied as a pair. The IPE designation identifies the motor variant within MAD’s range.

The three KV options are three different operating points for the same motor. A lower KV turns a larger propeller more slowly and efficiently; a higher KV turns a smaller propeller faster. The one you want depends on the propeller the airframe is designed around and the cell count you intend to run, not on which is nominally the most powerful.

At 9kg of thrust this is a mid-to-large multirotor motor, suitable for commercial airframes carrying a payload. Supplied as a pair because multirotor arms are built in opposing pairs and matching a single motor to an existing set is difficult.
