This is the muffler(one hole) for the DLE 170 twin, a large-displacement two-stroke petrol twin for very large scale models.
The part itself is the single-hole muffler variant.
Why it is replaced: replaced on cracking or corrosion, or when changing the exhaust routing.
Fitting note: Confirm the bolt pattern matches the engine before fitting.
