Replacement spark plug for the DLE 170 twin 170cc engine.
Function: it is the spark plug, which ignites the mixture in the cylinder.
The reason this ends up on an order: plugs are consumables that foul, erode at the electrode and suffer from an over-rich or lean mixture; on a two-stroke they also oil up at low throttle.
Fitting note: Check the gap and read the insulator colour — the plug is the cheapest diagnostic on a petrol two-stroke.
