DLE20RA Crankshaft

Replacement crankshaft for the DLE 20RA single 20cc engine.

Function: it is the crankshaft, which turns the piston’s reciprocating motion into rotary drive for the propeller and, on these engines, also forms the induction path through the crankcase.

The reason this ends up on an order: a crankshaft is replaced rather than repaired after a prop strike, a bearing failure or a loss of lubrication, and on a two-stroke the shaft also has to seal crankcase pressure.

Fitting note: Check the main bearings and the crankcase seal while the engine is apart, and re-check runout after fitting.
