Replacement admission valve plate for the DLE 222 twin 222cc engine.
Function: it is the admission valve plate, which seats the reed petals against the crankcase.
The reason this ends up on an order: replaced if the seating face is scored or the plate is warped, either of which prevents the petals sealing.
Fitting note: Check the plate for flatness on a surface plate and fit a new gasket.
