This is the propwasher for the DLE 40 single, a mid-size two-stroke petrol engine for sport and scale models.
The part itself is the propeller washer, which spreads the bolt clamping load against the hub or prop face.
Why it is replaced: a deformed or cracked washer lets the clamping load go slack and the propeller work loose.
Fitting note: Fit new washers on reassembly and inspect for cracking around the bore.
