The Dualsky GEMINI is a redundant power distribution board for the radio system, intended to feed the receiver and servos from more than one supply.
Redundancy here means a single battery or a single feed cannot take the controls down. Each supply is isolated, so a short or a failed cell in one pack does not drag the other down with it, and the model keeps flying on what is left.
This is standard practice on large models, where the servo current is significant and the cost of losing the radio is the aircraft.
