The LD AT9 is a 2.4GHz radio control system with 9 channels. Nine channels covers a typical scale or sport aircraft — the four primary controls plus flaps, retracts, and the auxiliary functions a model of any complexity needs.
As with any 2.4GHz set, the radio link is the part that has to be reliable rather than the part with the most features. That means the receiver installation is what matters most in practice: keeping the receiver away from metal and carbon, and positioning the antennas so they are not shielded by fuel tanks, batteries or engine components.
