Replacement hall sensor for the UMS 5-100cc, the five-cylinder 100cc four-stroke radial from UMS.
Function: it is the Hall effect sensor, which reads the magnet ring on the cam gear and tells the ignition when to fire.
The reason this ends up on an order: a failing Hall sensor gives an intermittent misfire or a no-start that is hard to trace, so these are a routine spare on ignition-equipped radials.
Fitting note: Check the air gap to the magnet ring and the condition of the connector before condemning the sensor.
