A spring stainer to suit the UMS 5-210cc — the five-cylinder 210cc four-stroke radial from UMS.
On this engine the component is the spring strainer in the lubrication path, which filters debris before it reaches the bearings.
Why this part matters: the strainer is cleaned at service and renewed if the mesh is damaged — a torn strainer lets debris through to the bearings. Supplied as a pack of 5, which is how these small parts are normally bought — you rarely need just one.
Fitting note: Check the mesh under good light and renew the retaining clip at the same time.
