UMS 5-260cc CAM GEAR WITH MAGNET RING ASSEMBLY

Replacement cam gear with magnet ring assembly for the UMS 5-260cc, the five-cylinder 260cc four-stroke radial from UMS.

Function: it is the cam gear with the magnet ring, which times the valves and provides the trigger the ignition pickup reads.

The reason this ends up on an order: the magnet ring is what tells the ignition when to fire, so a damaged ring affects timing as well as valve timing.

Fitting note: Align the timing marks exactly on refit — an off-by-one-tooth error will stop the engine running correctly.
