Returns & Warranty
Two promises: you have 30 days to change your mind, and every model we sell is covered against manufacturing defects for 2 years. Here is exactly how both work.
30-day returns
Return any unused item in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price. You do not need a reason, and you do not need to email us first – just send it back with your order number.
- Condition: unused, unflown, and complete with all original packaging, manuals and accessories.
- Return shipping: the customer covers return postage unless the item was faulty, damaged in transit or incorrectly sent.
- Refund timing: processed within 3 business days of arrival, and back on your card within 5-10 business days depending on your bank.
- Exclusions: items damaged by crashes, misuse, modification, or water immersion beyond the model’s IP rating.
2-year warranty
Every model, motor, ESC, servo and charger we sell is warranted against manufacturing defects for two years from the date of delivery. If it fails under normal use, we repair it, replace it or refund it – our choice, but always at our cost.
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover crash damage, prop strikes, over-discharged or punctured LiPo packs, water ingress beyond a model’s stated IP rating, or anything you have modified or repaired yourself.
What to do
- Email support@skypeakrc.com with your order number, a description of the fault and photos or a short video.
- We will diagnose it remotely where we can – a surprising number of “dead ESCs” turn out to be a throttle calibration or a low-voltage cutoff.
- If it is a genuine defect we issue a return authorisation and a prepaid label.
Crash spares
A crash is not a warranty claim – it is a Tuesday. We stock replacement props, cowls, canopies, wing sets, landing gear, arms, motors and servos for everything we sell, so most repairs are a single order and a couple of days. Browse Parts & Electronics or ask us if you cannot find what you need.
LiPo batteries
Batteries are covered against manufacturing defects (dead cell, internal short, failure to hold balance) for 6 months, which is the realistic lifespan of a pack in normal use. Puffed, punctured or over-discharged packs are almost always a charging or storage issue rather than a defect – see our LiPo Battery Guide to avoid it.
