Replacement intermiddent gear for the UMS 5-55cc, the five-cylinder 55cc four-stroke radial from UMS.
Function: it is the intermediate gear, which transmits drive between the crankshaft and the cam gear.
The reason this ends up on an order: the idler gear carries the load for both the cam and the ignition timing, so wear here affects the whole valve train.
Fitting note: Check the teeth and the bush, and confirm timing marks line up after fitting.
