This is the cylinder head with valve guide for the UMS 7-260cc engine, the seven-cylinder 260cc four-stroke radial from UMS.
The part itself is the cylinder head with its valve guides already fitted.
Why it is replaced: supplied this way because worn valve guides are one of the most common reasons to take a head off a radial — oil past the guides shows as a smoking exhaust.
Fitting note: Check valve stem clearance in the new guide before assembly.
