This is the vaccum tube for the UMS 7-260cc engine, the seven-cylinder 260cc four-stroke radial from UMS.
The part itself is the vacuum tubing for the induction and crankcase pressure system.
Why it is replaced: tubing hardens and cracks with heat and age, and a split vacuum tube makes the engine run inconsistently. Supplied as a pack of 5, which is how these small parts are normally bought — you rarely need just one.
Fitting note: Route the tube away from hot surfaces and check it reaches the nipple fully.
