A crank shaft to suit the UMS 7-35cc — the seven-cylinder 35cc four-stroke radial from UMS.
On this engine the component is the crankshaft, which converts the reciprocating motion of the pistons into rotary output and carries the propeller drive.
Why this part matters: a crankshaft is replaced rather than repaired after a bearing failure, a prop strike or a loss of oil pressure, and on a radial it also sets the firing relationship between all the cylinders.
Fitting note: Check main bearing condition and re-check runout after fitting.
