This is the circlip spring stainer for the UMS 7-90cc engine, the seven-cylinder 90cc four-stroke radial from UMS.
The part itself is the circlip that retains the spring strainer in the lubrication path.
Why it is replaced: a low-cost item that is replaced on principle whenever the strainer is cleaned or removed. Supplied as a pack of 10, which is how these small parts are normally bought — you rarely need just one.
Fitting note: A missing clip here can let the strainer move and starve the oil feed.
