Replacement carburettor gasket for the UMS 9-115cc, the nine-cylinder 115cc four-stroke radial from UMS.
Function: it is the carburettor gasket, sealing the carburettor to its manifold or adapter.
The reason this ends up on an order: an air leak at this joint makes the engine run lean and is one of the most common causes of erratic idle on a multi-cylinder radial. Supplied as a pack of 10, which is how these small parts are normally bought — you rarely need just one.
Fitting note: Renew the gasket every time the carburettor is disturbed and check the flange faces for flatness.
