DLE170 Admission valve plate

This is the admission valve plate for the DLE 170 twin, a large-displacement two-stroke petrol twin for very large scale models.

The part itself is the admission valve plate, which seats the reed petals against the crankcase.

Why it is replaced: replaced if the seating face is scored or the plate is warped, either of which prevents the petals sealing.

Fitting note: Check the plate for flatness on a surface plate and fit a new gasket.
