DUALSKY GA8000.S 160KV Single shaft edition, Giant Airplane Series

A Giant Airplane series motor from Dualsky, the GA8000.S, sized for large scale models and the propeller diameters they run.

These motors are built around a large-diameter stator, which is what provides the torque to swing a large propeller at moderate rpm.

This is the electric equivalent of a large petrol engine — intended for an airframe big enough that a standard sport motor would be running at its limit just to hold altitude.

Single shaft edition: the output shaft is a single-sided type rather than a through shaft, which suits a nose-mounted installation where the motor bolts to a firewall and only the front of the shaft is used.
