The Herlea S8318 is a brushless motor rated at 10kg of thrust and wound in KV100 or KV120, supplied as a pair. At this thrust level it belongs in the large multirotor class, where the airframe is carrying a camera, a spray tank or another payload rather than flying for sport.
The two KV windings are two operating points: KV100 for a larger propeller turning more slowly, KV120 for a slightly smaller one turning faster. The choice follows from the propeller and the cell count, and from whether efficiency or a smaller airframe matters more.
Supplied as a pair, which matches how a multirotor is built — arms come in opposing pairs, and having matched motors keeps the thrust even side to side.
